AGDA Awards 2026 Finalists

October 7, 2026

We’re beyond excited to share that Hopeful Monsters has been named a finalist five times in the 2026 AGDA Design Awards.

AGDA is the peak national organisation representing Australia’s communication design industry, with its awards celebrating some of the best design work in the country, so being recognised alongside such brilliant talent is a huge honour.

Three of our nominations are for work created with our incredible partners at Wheelchair Rugby Australia:

  • Australian Steelers National Team — Design for Good (Not-for-Profit)
  • Australian Miners Development Squad — Design for Good (Social & Community + Not-for-Profit)

And two for our very own Hopeful Monsters Playbook:

  • Brand & Identity (Books & Guidelines + Self-Promotion).

A huge thank you to Wheelchair Rugby Australia and our amazing team who poured so much care, creativity and thinking into the work. We’re proud to create work that goes beyond advertising and shows the power of communication and design to make an impact.

Winners are announced November 26, so we’ll be counting down the days and crossing everything.

Sign up for your fortnightly dose of cultural curiosities, brand provocations, and creative chaos to fuel your evolution.
